Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with cooking and food assembly according to established recipes and standards Support menu planning by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely availability of supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, adhering to food safety protocols Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality Support catering events and special functions by preparing bulk ingredients or dishes as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service Skills Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards Proven ability in kitchen environments with excellent knife skills and attention to detail Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; familiarity with catering or serving is a plus Ability to work quickly while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the culinary team Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
