It produces a feeling you can't quite describe but you never want to let go. We are seeking a talented AM Line Cook for The River Room at The River Course. This is a great opportunity for passionate, dedicated, confident team players who want to learn and work in a fun, professional environment. The River Room is open Tuesday-Saturday for lunch and dinner and is also responsible for many private events throughout the year, from weddings to golf tournaments and everything in between. Responsibilities Prepare food according to recipe specifications and the Executive Chef's guidelines in a timely and efficient manner Qualifications Proficient knowledge of hot food preparation, stocks, sauces, vegetable cookery, and meat temperatures Previous experience required in a high-volume scratch kitchen Experience in sauté, grill, broil, steam, fry, and salad stations Knowledge of knife skills and cooking terms is essential Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation rules is required Benefits In person applications are welcome between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 253 Gardeners Circle Suite 210 Kiawah Island, SC 29455.
