Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Morning and Evening Shift Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals during morning and evening shifts, adhering strictly to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food production appliances Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and ensuring consistency in food presentation and flavor profiles Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, braising, grilling, poaching, and food handling with skillful knife techniques Support dietary department requirements by preparing specialized meals that meet dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines Manage high-volume food production while maintaining quality control throughout the cooking process Requirements Proven experience as a cook in food service environments such as restaurants, catering facilities, or healthcare settings with dietary needs focus Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations Demonstrated culinary skills including grilling, braising, poaching, and recipe adherence Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Familiarity with menu planning, food production processes, and high-volume cooking environments Excellent knife skills combined with the ability to prepare diverse dishes with precision Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us if you're passionate about crafting exceptional meals in a fast-paced environment!
