Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, slicers, and food processors. Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Adhere strictly to recipe instructions, portion sizes, and presentation standards to deliver an outstanding guest experience. Requirements Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants or catering is highly preferred. Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and slicing techniques. Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Experience with food preparation, meal assembly, and operating various kitchen equipment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members.
