Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality pizzas and related menu items that delight our customers. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety will ensure every pizza meets our standards of excellence. Responsibilities Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food prep stations efficiently and safely Cook pizzas to perfection using grilling, braising, poaching, and other techniques to achieve optimal flavor and texture Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitizing all surfaces and equipment regularly Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal specials based on customer preferences Ensure consistent presentation and portion control for all menu items during high-volume production periods Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service during busy hours Experience Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or catering assistant is highly valued Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on food preparation, food handling, and food safety management Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, knives, and food production tools Experience with fine dining or high-volume production environments enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of recipe adherence, meal preparation techniques like braising and grilling, and menu planning is preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures or catering services adds valuable insight into diverse culinary settings Strong knife skills combined with a solid understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures will support your success in this position
