Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our culinary team as a . Assist in menu planning to ensure a diverse and appealing selection of dishes. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all food handling processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Utilize knife skills effectively for food preparation tasks. Provide exceptional food service during meal times, ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist with catering events as needed, showcasing culinary creativity and presentation skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices. Requirements Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation are essential. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in culinary roles or related fields is beneficial.
