Job Description

Your Mission As our Nutrition Cook in Martin, SD, you'll help fuel participants with meals that are appealing, safe, and nutritionally on target. This full-time role exists to keep daily meal service running smoothly while meeting program standards. Key responsibilities include partnering with the SIte Manager on menu planning; preparing, cooking, and serving meals per menu and nutrition requirements using approved recipes; operating and caring for kitchen equipment (dishwasher, stove, knives, microwave, etc.); documenting food temperatures, portions, meals served, and consumption; ordering and inventorying food/supplies, rotating and storing items correctly; maintaining sanitation (tables, utensils, handwashing, trash); securing food, supplies, and equipment; coordinating volunteers; and handling basic computer/phone/calculator tasks plus invoice accuracy.
