  • Full-time We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team at Dickson Health and Rehab in Dickson, TN.
As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital part in ensuring the satisfaction, safety, and overall well-being of our residents by preparing nutritious and appetizing meals in accordance with physician orders, dietary needs, and facility standards.
Compensation & Benefits:

Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes Ensure all meals meet dietary requirements, including modified textures and therapeutic diets Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with health department regulations Assist with food prep, portioning, and tray line as needed Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper storage of all food items Work closely with Dietary Manager and clinical staff regarding resident dietary needs Maintain accurate production and sanitation records Ensure timely meal service to residents
Cook Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience in healthcare, long-term care, or food service preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety standards is a plus Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable with strong attendance record Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule & Shift:
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available Morning and Evening shifts available Rotating weekends and holidays required
