Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and refining existing recipes to enhance flavor profiles. Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, and other culinary tools. Support food service operations by coordinating with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas throughout shifts. Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles, preferably with fine dining experience. Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques. Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
