Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service times and ensure timely delivery of orders Handle food handling responsibilities with care, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and dish execution techniques Ensure all food preparation meets health regulations and safety standards at all times Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs Fine dining experience is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and presentation skills Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining quality standards Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and serving teams Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
