Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cook to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals for 50+ individuals in a residential facility.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and cook meals for 50+ people according to planned menus. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen. Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures. Assist with meal preparation, serving, kitchen cleanup, and food storage. Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs. Accommodate approved dietary restrictions and special dietary needs. Work cooperatively with other staff to ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
Qualifications:
Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred, especially preparing meals for large groups. Ability to work independently and manage multiple food items at once. Dependable, organized, and able to maintain a clean and safe kitchen. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with kitchen work. Experience cooking in a residential, healthcare, treatment, school, cafeteria, or institutional setting is a plus. Please apply in person at 150 Orange or submit your resume online.
