Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dietary Aide to join our team, providing exceptional nutritional support and meal services to our residents. In this vital role, you will assist in preparing, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that residents receive nutritious, appealing meals in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation, ensuring all dietary guidelines are followed accurately. Serve meals to residents with professionalism, friendliness, and excellent customer service skills. Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Support cleaning duties such as bussing tables, sanitizing kitchen surfaces, and ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting. Help with food storage, inventory management, and organization within the dietary department. Follow all procedures related to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with nursing staff and dietary team members to meet individual resident needs and preferences. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and sanitation practices. Strong time management skills to handle meal schedules efficiently. Experience with dietary department operations or dietary aide roles is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
