Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties Plan weekly specials. Run the kitchen efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives, mixers, and ovens. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment within the dietary department. Qualifications Previous experience as a cook or in food service is preferred but not required; experience as a dietary aide is a plus. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
