POSITION OVERVIEW
Miramont Country Club is seeking skilled and professional Line/Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes according to our established recipes, ensuring consistency, taste and presentation across all dining outlets, private events and Club functions. Ideal candidates are organized, efficient and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare menu items to order, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and machinery safely. Execute high-volume batch cooking as well as la carte and to-go orders. Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and timing Maintain an organized, clean and safe kitchen and prep stations. Ensure proper food storage, labeling and inventory practices. Follow food safety, sanitation and health regulations. Assist with prepping ingredients and cleaning storage areas. Participate in staff meetings and kitchen training sessions.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a busy, noisy environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions (hot, cold, humid, etc.). Knowledge of kitchen equipment and proper food handling techniques. Food safety certification required.
