  • Parking Enforcement Monitor The Blinn College District is searching for a Part Time
  • Parking Enforcement Monitor at our Bryan Campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below: Job Summary To assist parking enforcement operations within the Blinn College Police
  • Parking Department Principal Accountabilities To monitor all college parking lots and issue appropriate parking citations To monitor all parking supplies and equipment Responsible for assisting in monitoring pay by space machines and operations Keep golf cart clean and maintained Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications 1.
Able to understand and recognize the appropriate college parking violations. 2. Able to record the violations on the appropriate violation documents. 3. Able to operate a distinct marked parking golf cart. 4. Possess good writing skills and capable of completing departmental incident reports. 5. Possess good oral communications skills. 6. High school graduate or equivalent. 7. State of Texas class C Driver license. Minimum Competencies 1. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 2. Ability to work within a team environment. 3. Ability to interface with and communicate with deans, directors, faculty and students Preferred Qualifications 1. Positive customer service skills 2. Past experience in other public relations positions. Preferred Competencies Special Notes To Applicants Maximum of 19 hours per week. The specific requirements for becoming a parking enforcement officer requires applicants to be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Should be in good physical shape, since the position often requires a lot of walking, Reading comprehension and math skills are required, as is the ability to clearly articulate a parking violation and communicate with others politely and professionally.
