Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Overnight Cashier/Cook, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations during the late-night hours. This energetic position combines food preparation, customer service, and cashiering duties to create a welcoming environment for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing delicious food items, managing cash transactions with accuracy, and providing exceptional service to ensure every visitor has a positive experience. Duties Prepare a variety of food items efficiently and according to established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Provide friendly and attentive customer service, assisting guests with menu selections and upselling additional items Manage cash register operations, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations in compliance with health regulations Restock supplies, organize food storage areas, and ensure all food handling procedures meet safety standards Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant operations during overnight hours Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and adhering to food safety protocols Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate transaction processing Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is a plus Ability to work overnight shifts reliably while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail Join us as an Overnight Cashier/Cook and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality food and exceptional service around the clock.
