Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Like Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be the backbone of meal preparation, ensuring that every dish is crafted with care, precision, and a passion for quality. Your energetic approach will help create a warm and efficient kitchen environment where food safety and exceptional service are top priorities. Whether you're chopping, cooking, or plating, your contribution will directly impact the satisfaction of our guests and the smooth operation of our food service. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Support menu planning by preparing daily specials and ensuring ingredient availability Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist in food presentation, garnishing, and portioning to ensure visually appealing dishes Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and coordinating serving logistics Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service delivery Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a restaurant or food industry setting Excellent knife skills with the ability to efficiently chop, slice, dice, and prepare ingredients Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards to prevent contamination Experience in menu planning and meal prep for diverse dietary needs Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Familiarity with catering services and serving large groups efficiently Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts, eager to develop your skills in a lively environment, and committed to delivering delicious meals that delight every guest!
