Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Breakfast Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting delicious breakfast dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen operations, and adherence to food safety standards will ensure our breakfast service runs smoothly, efficiently, and with high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and other specialty dishes with precision and consistency. Follow established recipes and menu guidelines to ensure quality and presentation standards are met. Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production appliances safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations by adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures throughout the shift. Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and dish preparation techniques. Manage high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and quality control. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, with specific expertise in cooking breakfast items such as poaching, grilling, braising, and meal assembly. Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely. Background in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs. Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments that demand high standards of food handling and presentation. Knowledge of food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques. Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency across multiple servings. Excellent food industry knowledge with a focus on catering experience or high-volume production environments.
