This role includes supervising kitchen staff, coordinating food preparation, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and standards Oversee daily kitchen operations and workflow Supervise and support assistant cooks and kitchen staff Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are met Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Train new kitchen staff on procedures and food preparation techniques Communicate effectively with owners and front-of-house staff
