About Lagoonfest Texas Lagoonfest Texas is a premier outdoor waterfront destination offering resort-style amenities, high guest traffic, and a dynamic food and beverage operation. Team members enjoy a fast-paced environment, outdoor views, and meaningful opportunities for advancement as the property continues to grow. We are seeking an experienced Line cook to be apart of the back-of-house operations, maintain food safety and quality standards, and join a seasonal kitchen team. What You Will Do Involved in operation in a high-volume, fast-paced environment . Be apart of a team of 5+ kitchen staff members . Ensure all cleanliness, sanitation, and food handling practices meet or exceed local health code standards . Assist in inventory levels, ensure proper rotation, and complete ordering needs in coordination with the Kitchen Manager. Maintain prep standards, ticket times, and quality control across all menu items. Monitor equipment, communicate maintenance needs, and ensure all BOH areas remain operational and safe. Qualifications 1+ year experience in a kitchen or back-of-house environment required. 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen required. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance. Inventory management and ordering experience required. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work long hours in a high-energy, high-volume operation.
