celleFry Cook — Texas Fish ChickenJob Overview Texas Fish Chicken is hiring two Fry Cooks in Fort Worth, with one opening at our Altamesa location and one at our new Handley location. We're looking for dependable people who take pride in their work and want to be part of a team. Some previous kitchen or food preparation experience is required. You don't need to be a chef or have management experience. If you know the basics and are willing to learn, we'll provide hands-on training and patiently help you get comfortable with our menu and kitchen procedures. Duties Prepare and cook fish, chicken, fries, and other menu items according to our recipes and portion sizes. Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely. Check cooking times and food temperatures to keep orders consistent. Keep your work area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized. Follow food safety and proper food storage procedures. Help with food preparation, restocking, and kitchen cleanup. Communicate with teammates to keep orders accurate and moving during busy shifts. Experience and Expectations Some previous restaurant kitchen or food preparation experience. Willingness to follow instructions, accept feedback, and learn our way of preparing food. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Attention to cleanliness, food quality, and teamwork. We have the patience to teach someone who is ready to show up, put in the effort, and learn.
