In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes that delight our guests. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to safety standards and details, and culinary skills will contribute to a vibrant dining experience. Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning according to recipes and standards Cook menu items with consistency, adhering strictly to recipe guidelines and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours Support menu planning by providing feedback on ingredient quality and preparation methods Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operation during service shifts Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food handling safety standards Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency in meal preparation Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Culinary experience demonstrating knowledge of cooking techniques, food industry standards, and catering operations is desirable Join us to be part of a passionate culinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
