Rustika Cafe & Bakery Katy is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team in Houston, TX! Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station throughout each shift Assist with food prep including chopping, portioning, and ingredient staging Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to kitchen management Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures at all times Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment Support bakery and cafe production as needed during peak service hours

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in a cafe, restaurant, or bakery setting Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Food Handler Certification a plus) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability including weekends and early morning shifts
