Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic pizzas in both Spanish and English styles, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Use precise knife skills and food handling techniques to prepare ingredients, including dough, toppings, sauces, and cheeses Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes and seasonal specials that appeal to diverse tastes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food safety standards at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service during busy hours Support catering events by preparing large quantities of pizza with attention to detail and presentation Engage with customers when needed, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items Requirements Proven experience as a pizza maker or chef with a strong background in food preparation within the food industry or restaurant environment Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on pizza making, including dough handling, cooking techniques, and ingredient selection Knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and kitchen sanitation standards Experience working in fine dining or catering settings is a plus but not required Strong knife skills and ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us if you're eager to bring your culinary talents to life in a lively environment where your skills make a real difference!
