The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests through your culinary expertise and attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including grills, ovens, and fryers. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages. Participate in catering events as needed, providing high-quality service to guests. Uphold the restaurant's standards for presentation and flavor in every dish served. Qualifications Previous experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Experience in fine dining settings is a plus. Familiarity with menu planning and dietary department operations is beneficial. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking styles. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
