Role:
As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals, including nutritional supplements and special diets, to meet the specific needs of our patients and residents.
Your duties will include:
Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with prescribed menus and nutrition plans Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety and handling guidelines Assisting with food procurement, inventory management, and budgeting Collaborating with the dietary team to ensure seamless meal service delivery Providing exceptional customer service to patients, residents, and staff
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or experience preferred 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting or commercial kitchen environment; certified dietary cook or registered dietitian a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on customer service and adaptability
