In this lively role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and at times efficient food preparation. Duties Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely setup and cleanup Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to sanitation protocols Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required—training will be provided Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning tools is beneficial Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations Ability to respond to emergency situations to avoid endangering themselves or others This role invites energetic individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
