In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing delicious meals with precision and creativity. Your culinary skills will help deliver memorable dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and safety. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards in production Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing using proper knife skills, and portioning ingredients Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure timely service Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient needs and dish assembly techniques Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant kitchens, with a strong foundation in culinary techniques Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs Skilled in food preparation, cooking, and operating various kitchen equipment safely Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Ability to follow recipes precisely and adhere to meal presentation standards Catering experience or background in the food industry is advantageous but not required Chinese Wok experience is strongly preferred.

$10.00 - $18.00 per hour
