In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, plating, and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will ensure every plate meets our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a vibrant kitchen setting while contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Plate dishes attractively, paying close attention to presentation details that enhance the dining experience. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for efficient service. Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, plating, and cleaning. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff on menu planning ideas and special dietary requests when needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting. Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques. Experience working in fine dining environments or catering services is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues.
