This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, takes pride in putting out food that looks and tastes great, and likes working as part of a small, supportive team. Our kitchen is hands-on, so we're looking for someone who is willing to jump in wherever needed. You'll prepare breakfast and dinner menu items, follow established recipes and presentation standards, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and help with dishes and cleaning throughout your shift. Schedule This position is scheduled for approximately 6 shifts per week , including: 1 morning shift: 4:30 AM-11:00 AM 5 evening shifts: 4:30 PM-10:30 PM Weekend and holiday availability required based on hotel business and events. What You'll Do Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Follow directions, recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines consistently Pay close attention to food quality and presentation — we want every plate leaving the kitchen to look great Complete food prep and keep ingredients stocked and ready for service Prepare food for restaurant service as well as occasional banquets and catering events Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and food safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen throughout the shift Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed Complete routine kitchen cleaning, including workstations, floors, equipment, and food preparation areas Properly label, date, rotate, and store food to help maintain quality and reduce waste Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency Communicate and work well with other team members Be willing to help wherever needed — we're a small team and teamwork matters What We're Looking For Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred Valid Food Handler Certification required Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time Strong attention to detail, especially with food quality and presentation Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to stay organized and work efficiently during busy periods Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work on your feet for several hours at a time Comfortable performing cleaning and dishwashing duties as part of the position Why Join Us?
