The Fry Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to restaurant standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, pays attention to detail, and is committed to delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook fried foods, appetizers, sides, rice, noodles, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and in a timely manner.
Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and food quality to meet health and safety requirements.
Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, portioning, and stocking food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of fry stations, prep areas, and kitchen equipment.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies and procedures.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate and timely order completion.
Support overall kitchen operations and assist team members as needed during busy periods. Qualifications Previous cooking or restaurant experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
