The Cook II is a mid-level cook that will be responsible for a variety of cooking methods and cuisines and will assist in all areas of the kitchen- prep, line, grille, sauté and more.

Prepare food and menu items according to standard recipes. Receiving and put away food requisitions checking for food products quality and amount. Inspect all refrigeration and dry storage for proper handling and rotation. Ensure that the stations are set up for service but also clean and that all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of shift. Ensure that kitchen stations and functions are properly broken down and those reusable items are returned to the main kitchen and put on proper shelf. Assist in other kitchens within the hotel, as needed.This may include assisting in Banquets, buffet restaurants, a la carte restaurants, or social venues.
