Job Summary Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Prep Cook/Kitchen Staff member, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help create delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation according to established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team in cooking, plating, and presentation of meals Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Support catering and special event meal preparations as needed Serve food efficiently during meal service times while maintaining excellent customer service standards Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Kitchen experience in restaurants or food service environments is preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices Proficiency in food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills Familiarity with knife skills, meal preparation, and food industry standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Join us to be part of a vibrant culinary team dedicated to quality and excellence.
