Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes. Your expertise in food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations will ensure that every plate served meets our high-quality standards. Duties Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Assist in ingredient preparation to ensure timely meal service Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and meet service deadlines Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are consistently upheld Support the training of new team members on food prep techniques and safety procedures Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, slicing methods, and cooking processes Knowledge of food safety management standards and adherence to safety regulations in production Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and food industry best practices Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff and work efficiently under pressure Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
