The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food according to company recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Successful candidates take pride in delivering excellent food and helping create a great guest experience. Essential Responsibilities Prepare menu items according to Craftburger recipes and specifications. Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards. Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Properly stock, rotate, and store food products using FIFO procedures. Assist with daily prep work and kitchen setup. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift. Monitor product quality and report any issues to management. Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed. Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous restaurant or cooking experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to work safely around hot surfaces and kitchen equipment. Schedule Full-time position.
