This role requires a self-driven individual who can efficiently handle food preparation for a menu with over 20 items, ensure safety compliance, and stay productive during downtime. Responsibilities Prepare breakfast and lunch dishes from a menu featuring over 20 items, ensuring timely and consistent quality. Conduct food preparation tasks including slicing using proper cutting methods to ensure efficiency and safety. Manage food safety standards in all aspects of production, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by regularly cleaning work stations, utensils, and equipment. Keep up on all dishes. Follow safety standards during food production to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Stay self-motivated during downtime by staying productive with cleaning or other kitchen maintenance tasks. Provide excellent food service experience by ensuring dishes are prepared accurately and presented well. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or cooking, especially with breakfast and lunch menus. Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production. Ability to perform slicing using proper cutting techniques safely and efficiently. Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen environment. Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive during slower periods without supervision. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple menu items simultaneously. Passion for cooking and providing quality food service in a peaceful setting.
