The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and a strong understanding of dietary needs within an assisted living facility. This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals tailored to their dietary requirements. If you have a background in the food industry, particularly in an assisted living or restaurant settings, we want to hear from you! Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Collaborate with the dietary department to plan menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure high standards are maintained. Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Adapt meal plans based on resident feedback or dietary changes. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably within a dietary department. Strong skills in meal preparation and menu planning, with an emphasis on nutrition. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. A passion for cooking and providing high-quality meals that cater to diverse dietary needs. Current Food handlers permit

4:00 PM - 6:30 PM (Dinner service) Weekends (rotating): 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Breakfast & Lunch) Opportunity for additional hours and shifts as needed.
