Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook and bring your passion for food to life in a fast-paced, energetic environment! As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play a key role in preparing delicious, high-quality dishes that delight our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene and safety regulations Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and dish execution Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively for guests Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices Experience with meal preparation, food industry standards, and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us as a Line Cook and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to culinary excellence!
