HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality, fresh, and safe food products by preparing ingredients for large-scale production. Ensuring that all prep tasks are completed with precision, consistency, and care, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of Harmons' Central Production Facility operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Wash, peel, cut, and portion vegetables, meats, and other ingredients based on production needs Accurately weigh and measure ingredients following Harmons' recipes Properly label and store prepped items to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination Stage ingredients for cooks to ensure smooth production flow Assist with basic cooking tasks such as blanching, assembling products, and basic cooking techniques Follow Harmons' Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and strict food handling protocols Monitor storage temperatures and expiration dates to ensure food safety Safely operate commercial food prep equipment including slicers, food processors, mixers, and scales Promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns Complete cooking and cooling logs in compliance with Harmons' food safety requirements Record lot codes, requested yields, waste, and batch sizes accurately for reporting and traceability Assists as needed to ensure the success of the facility as a wholeMARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
