Job Summary Join our team as a Cashier/Line Cook, where you will be the friendly face greeting customers and the skilled hands preparing delicious food. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the cashier station. Handle cash, credit card payments, and process sales accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation and cooking tasks Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning kitchen surfaces Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction through friendly recommendations Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and minimal wait times for guests Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling and accurate order totaling Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience with kitchen operations or café environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary talents while delivering memorable experiences to our guests.
