Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, executing recipes with precision, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Your culinary skills will help deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests while supporting the overall flow of kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation by following proper handling procedures and cleaning protocols Assist with meal preparation for various service periods, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and prep needs Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow Adhere strictly to safety standards in food production, including proper food handling and storage practices Experience Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering experience, is highly desirable Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and recipe adherence Strong knife skills with slicing techniques that ensure precision and safety Knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment confidently and safely Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary expertise in a supportive team environment.
