In this role, you'll be instrumental in preparing high-quality dishes for a variety of events and daily service, ensuring every plate meets our standards of flavor, presentation, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a lively environment that values creativity, teamwork, and precision. Whether you're crafting gourmet meals or supporting large-scale catering events, your contributions will help create memorable experiences for our guests. Weekend availability is required for this position. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning and food production to ensure timely and efficient service during events and daily operations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising tools, poaching setups, and food prep stations. Maintain strict food safety protocols by following sanitizing procedures, proper food handling techniques, and sanitation standards. Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal preparation accordingly. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-volume production runs smoothly while maintaining quality control. Assist with catering setup, food presentation, and breakdown to deliver exceptional event experiences. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within fast-paced restaurant or catering environments. Strong culinary skills including grilling, braising, poaching, knife skills, and meal assembly. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production. Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Background in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable. Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
