Full Job Description Work Hours Requirement:
This position requires availability Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 2 PM .

If you are unable to work these hours, we kindly ask that you do not apply. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Buffet Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a Line Cook/Buffet Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and maintaining a variety of hot and cold dishes for our buffet service, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to food safety standards. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of buffet-style dishes according to established recipes and quality standards. Ensure the buffet is well-stocked, visually appealing, and maintained throughout service hours. Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to meet health and safety regulations. Monitor food temperatures and replenish buffet items as needed to ensure freshness and quality. Coordinate with kitchen and prep staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Assist with daily prep tasks and contribute to menu planning and portion control. Maintain cleanliness and organization of buffet and kitchen areas. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff regarding food availability or customer needs. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or buffet-style service setting preferred. Solid knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Strong culinary skills, including cooking, food prep, and portioning. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods. Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
