Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience working in food service environments, possess strong culinary skills, and be committed to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry expertise while contributing to a vibrant dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools. Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to support meal service needs. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by following proper cleaning procedures and sanitation practices. Handle food safely by adhering to food handling guidelines and food safety management protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation. Support catering events or special functions with appropriate food preparation and setup. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of culinary techniques including knife skills, slicing methods, and recipe adherence. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and safety regulations in production settings. Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and operating kitchen equipment. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary or dietary department experience is a plus; willingness to learn new skills is essential. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 35.0 per week
