Reporting to the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen experience to ensure efficient meal preparation and exceptional food service which will contribute to a memorable dining experience for our guests. Join us to bring your passion for Italian cooking to life in a vibrant restaurant setting. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes according to established recipes and standards with high-quality food presentation and flavor. Manage meal preparation and food service efficiently during peak hours. Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with health regulations. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Monitor inventory levels. Qualifications Food Handlers Certification required Food Managers (Food Safety Cert) required for day shift Proven experience in meal preparation and cooking, particularly in Italian cuisine Strong kitchen experience with a focus on food handling and safety Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities Familiarity with menu and dietary needs Background in the food service, preferably in a restaurant setting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of food quality
