LINE COOK

We're looking for a part-time line cook to join our small kitchen team at The Shack in Staunton, VA. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small, focused kitchen where everyone contributes and takes pride in the details.

The position includes:

Two weekly prep shifts ( Wednesday/Friday), Two dinner service shifts Friday/Saturday, Occasional dishwashing/support shifts as needed Approximately 25-30 hours per week Our kitchen focuses on handmade food, seasonal ingredients and a menu influenced by both our Southern Virginia surroundings and flavors from around the world. With a small team and a 26-seat dining room, every person in the kitchen plays an important role in the guest experience. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working cleanly and efficiently, and interested in continuing to grow as a cook. Prior professional kitchen experience is preferred, but attitude, consistency and willingness to learn are just as important. Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Interested?
