Job Description

Black Bear Talent seeking an experienced Cook to join our clients culinary team on the evening shift. This position is ideal for someone with strong culinary skills and prior banquet cooking experience who can confidently prepare menu items, accommodate special requests, and maintain quality and presentation in a fast paced hotel environment. Hours are 4:00pm - 10:00pm
Start Pay:
$15.00 Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards. Assist with banquet preparation and execution. Prepare food for special events, functions, and guest requests. Accommodate or create special menu items and dietary requests when needed. Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards. Keep the kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality and presentation. Communicate effectively with the culinary team and other hotel staff. Assist with preparation and closing duties as needed. Qualifications Prior professional cooking experience required. Previous banquet cooking experience required. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Ability to prepare menu items and create or modify dishes for special requests. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. Excellent attention to food quality, presentation, and consistency.
