Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring food safety.

Responsibilities:

_Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, paninis, and menu items to order

• Prepare and cook food items to fulfill par and line items according to recipes/quality standards
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Adhere to dietary department guidelines for special diets or restrictions _ Arrive everyday ready to work, clean, organized and prepared for food service

Skills:

• Experience in a similar role as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Experience using a commercial deli slicer
• Experience with Health Code Inspections and adhering to proper food safety proceedures
• Familiarity with menu planning and portion control
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively Mobjack Coffee Roasters and Petite Cafe is a must see destination in Historic Yorktown, Colonial National Historical Park.
