In this role, you will prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring that their dining experience is both enjoyable and meets their dietary needs. You'll work closely with the Dining Services Director and the kitchen team to follow established menus and recipes, while also maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Full-Time Schedule:
Sunday, 10:30am-7:00pm Monday, 10:30am-7:00pm Tuesday, 8:00am-4:30pm Wednesday, 8:00am-4:30pm Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
Prepare meals according to standardized recipes Ensure food is cooked and served at the proper temperature Assist in the preparation of special diet orders as needed Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen Help with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies Collaborate with the team to ensure a high-quality dining experience
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in senior living or healthcare Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Willingness to learn and adapt to resident dietary preferences and needs ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) If you have a passion for cooking and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, we encourage you to apply!
