Unlike other cooking positions in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, resorts), in this role you'll have the opportunity to build life-long relationships serving our residents and experience their gratitude for a job well-done. Additionally, late shifts are not part of this job, so you can get home and enjoy your nights! W orking as a Cook, with our Dining Services team, you will: Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including properly preparing, serving, and storing food Ensure the special dietary needs of residents are met Make a significant contribution to our residents' quality of life by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency of meals prepared and served Demonstrate organizational skills around time management Work in a team environment where communication is key Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living We are looking for great people that encompass: Care and compassion Open-mindedness The desire to make a difference
